Death of Palatine Township Rural Fire Protection District Trustee Creates Board Vacancy
Due to the passing of Trustee Richard A. Wells, resumes for those who would like to serve as a trustee will be accepted until Nov. 5, 20

Palatine Township is mourning the passing of one of its trustees was serving on the Palatine Rural Fire Protection District board, Richard A. Wells, 59, of Inverness.
Wells died unexpectedly on October 19, 2015. He is survived by his wife Laura, and children Brittany, Lindsay, Jennifer and Matthew.

“Richard’s family is in our thoughts and prayers,” said Palatine Township Supervisor, Sharon Langlotz-Johnson. “We so appreciate his dedication through his service as a trustee; he is gone far too soon.”
The trustee seat that was held by Wells now must be filled. The three year term began on April 27, 2015 and will be up on April 27, 2018.

Resumes will be accepted until Thursday, November 5, 2015. Applicants must live within the Palatine Rural Fire Protection District, and can email resumes to: sljohnson@palatinetownship.com
