Diamond Ring Found At Arlington Heights Metra Train Station: Village

Officials are trying to reunite the ring with its owner after it was turned in by a "very kind and caring resident."

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — With a track record of reuniting residents with found rings in the past, the Village of Arlington Heights is searching for the owner of a diamond ring recently found at the Metra train station in downtown Arlington Heights.

"The ring was dropped off to Public Works from a very kind and caring resident, who wants to reunite this lost treasure with their rightful owner," the Village said in a Thursday morning social media post.

Officials said there are unique identifying inscriptions inside the ring that must be provided in order to claim ownership. Residents with information can email communications@vah.com.
