Increases in student registration, athletic and extracurricular fees are being considered by the Township High School District 214 school board to addresss projected budget shortfalls of up to $5 million for the 2013-2014 school year, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The township high school district has made a number of moves to curtail spending, the Chicago Tribune reports. A cost comparison with neighboring District 211 found comparable registration fees nearly $300 more per year in D214.
