District 25 Explores Universal Algebra Course

Arlington Heights School District 25 is working with Township High School District 214 to create a universal algebra class, which will be rolled out at the elementary school district during the 2014-15 school year, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Algebra 1 class will have "universal objectives and a common assessment," which will allow students who take the algebra class in sixth grade to get the same course as a student who takes it as a freshman in high school, according to the Tribune article.
