District 25 Schools to Receive Sustainability Grants
District 25 officials are currently accepting proposals from the schools to determine how the grant money should be used, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Nine schools in Arlington Heights School District 25 will receive grants from the newly created Green Canopy Initiative with the hopes that the funds will help improve sustainability efforts at neighborhood schools, according to the Chicago Tribune.
After learning there was $17,000 extra in profits from selling memorabilia at the village of Arlington Heights 125th birthday, the Quasquincentennial Committee decided to use the funds to help out area schools, according to the Chicago Tribune.
