Drunken Driver Found With Loose Cannabis During Arrest: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

  • Jonathan M. Bergman, 32, of the 200 block of Royal Court, Prospect Heights, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, DUI alcohol, driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol by driver, and was arrested at 12:38 p.m. Feb. 25, at Dunton and Central roads. He was released and assigned a court date of March 3.
  • Joseph White, 19, of the 400 block of W. Bob-O-Link Road, Mount Prospect, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, unlawful possession of adult-use cannabis in car outside of container, speeding, and was arrested at 3:48 a.m. Feb. 25, in the 600 block of E. Palatine Road. He was released and assigned a court date of March 31.

THEFT

Lona R. Brandt, 39, of the 400 block of Rand Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of two counts of theft, and was arrested at 1:31 p.m. Feb. 24, in the 400 block of W. Rand Road. She was released and assigned a court date of April 7.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Douglas K. Collins, 53, of the 2600 block of N. Windsor Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of criminal damage to property, and was arrested at 8:52 a.m. Feb. 20, in the 2600 block of N. Windsor Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of March 5.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Anthony Samuel Galue-Barrios, 26, of the 4700 block of Arbor Drive, Rolling Meadows, is accused of operating a motor vehicle with no valid license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 8:16 p.m. Feb. 21, at Northwest Highway and Evergreen. He was released and assigned a court date of March 13.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

Samantha N. Meyerberg, 39, of the 20 block of W. Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of two counts of driving on a revoked license, and was arrested at 9:29 p.m. Feb. 22, in the 90 block of W. Algonquin Road. She was released and assigned a court date of April 6.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

  • Jose M. Patino Perez, 48, had two in-state warrants for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Feb. 26, in the 10 block of W. Algonquin Road.
  • Carlos E. Rojas, 44, of the 400 block of N. Stephen Drive, West Chicago, had an in-state warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 8:22 p.m. Feb. 20, at Northwest Highway and Evergreen.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Ashley S. Wright, 40, of the 100 block of Morris Street, Joliet, is accused of possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Feb. 24, in the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road. She was released and assigned a court date of April 7.
