ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

RETAIL THEFT

  • Kamal Frank Abdelkoui, 62, is accused of retail theft over $300, and was arrested at 5:50 p.m. Sept. 22, at the downtown train station, 45 W Northwest Highway. He was assigned a court date of Oct. 14.
  • Jamie J. Christman, 45, is accused of retail theft over $300, and was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 21, in the 200 block of E. Sigwalt Street. Bond was set at $20,000 and Christman was assigned a court date of Nov. 12.

ASSAULT

Konstantin Badin, 30, is accused of two counts of assault, and was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Sept. 18, in the 800 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released after paying bond and was assigned a court date of Nov. 2.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Michael P. Bronowski, 31, is accused of having a warrant for violation of a bail bond, and was arrested at 2:35 a.m. Sept. 23, at the Mobil Station, 1880 S. Arlington Heights Road. His bond was set at $3,000.

BATTERY

Andreas D. Drakontaidis, 58, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 12:10 a.m. Sept. 20, in the 1700 block of W. Central Road. A court date of Oct. 6 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Michael A. Freeh, 51, is accused of violation of order of protection, and was arrested at 11 a.m. Sept. 17, at the Sigwalt Street police station. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was assigned a court date of Oct. 5.

VIOLATION OF STALKING/NO CONTACT ORDER

Sade S. Haughton, 28, is accused of violation of stalking/no contact order, and having a warrant for violation of a bail bond, and was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 19, in the 900 block of E. Kensington Road. Bond was set at $10,000 and Haughton was assigned a court date of Oct. 12.

ENDANGERING THE LIFE OF A CHILD

Thomas R. Kutter, 38, is accused of endangering the life or health of a child, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 4:05 p.m. Sept. 17. Bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 2.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Daniel McGinn, 60, is accused of residential burglary, and was arrested at 5:07 p.m. Sept. 22, in the 1600 block of S. Fernandez Avenue. His bond was set at $30,000 and he was assigned a court date of Oct. 15.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • William F. Morales, 30, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 5:49 a.m. Sept. 19, in the 2500 block of Cedar Glen Drive. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 2.
  • Timothy P. Sladon, 35, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, and was arrested at 7:45 p.m. Sept. 18, at Euclid Avenue and N. Wilke Road. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 2.
  • William S. Stauffer, 60, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol over .08, unlawful use of cannabis by a driver, and was arrested at 2:04 a.m. Sept. 17, at W. Rand Road and Stonebridge Drive. Bond was set at $1,000 and he was assigned a court date of Oct. 14.
  • Aneliya Rumenova Toteva, 35, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:22 a.m. Sept. 23, at Algonquin Road and Tonne Drive. Bond was set at $2,000 and Toteva was assigned a court date of Oct. 14.
  • Barbara A. Wasik, 57, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level over .08, and was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Sept. 17, in the 400 block of W. Kingsbury Drive. Bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of Oct. 6.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

  • Donesha S. Paxton, 24 is accused of no driver's license, and was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Sept. 22, at N. Wilke Road and W. Euclid Avenue. Bond was set at $2,500 and Paxton was assigned a court date of Oct. 15.
  • Carlos Gonzalez Perez, 46, is accused of operating a vehicle without a driver's license, and was arrested at 3:35 p.m. Sept. 21, at Palatine Frontage Road and N. Kennicott Drive. His bond was set at $2,500 and he was assigned a court date of Oct. 20.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Carmel J. Salem, 30, is accused of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of cannabis by a driver, and was arrested at 4:39 p.m. Sept. 23, in the 900 block of W. Algonquin Road.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

Bryan J. Vidal, 23, is accused of having a suspended driver's license, and was arrested at 2:52 a.m. Sept. 19, at Arlington Heights Road and Park Street. His bond was set at $2,500 and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 3.
