Duo Steals $6K In Cosmetics From Ulta: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
The incident occurred earlier this month at the W. Rand Road location, according to police.

ARRESTS
VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Aura K. Coleman, 30, had two in-state warrants for violation of bail bond, and was arrested June 11 in the 2100 block of Tonne Drive. Coleman was held for a detention hearing.

- Adan Contreras Jr., 31, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested June 13 at N. Arlington Heights and E. Palatine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of July 1.
- Jose Jairo Tellez-Mendez, 21, is accused of DUI alcohol, driving on a suspended license, and was arrested June 13 in the 1400 block of E. Davis Street.
BATTERY
- Terrell L. Jefferson, 38, is accused of two counts of battery, and was arrested June 7 in the 200 block of E. Valley Lane. He was released and assigned a court date of June 24.
- Arielle L. Sylvester, 32, is accused of battery, criminal damage to property, and was arrested June 13 at the downtown train station, 45 W. Northwest Highway. She was released and assigned a court date of July 1.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY
Russell Rogers, 39, is accused of criminal trespass to property, and was arrested June 10 at the Evergreen parking underground, 35 S. Evergreen Ave. He was released and assigned a court date of July 9.
BURGLARY
Jeremiah F. Zajler, 23, is accused of burglary, and was arrested June 11 in the 30 block of W. Golf Road. He was released and assigned a court date of July 26.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at Ulta, 13 W. Rand Road, reported at 6:25 p.m. June 4, two people stole approximately $6,000 in cosmetics. The two people are described as:
- Hispanic female, late 20s, dark-colored hair, wearing a black zip up hooded sweatshirt, black bike shorts, carrying a large white tote bag.
- Hispanic male, late 20s, wearing an orange baseball hat, white hooded sweatshirt, orange shorts, white socks, black sandals, carrying a black book bag.
BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident in the 2400 block of E. Gregory Street reported that during the overnight hours of June 6, someone shattered the rear passenger window on her black Dodge and stole a laptop, pickle ball paddle and earrings from inside.
THEFT
- A citizen called police at 6:30 p.m. June 6, to report someone stole his black AOVOPRO max electric scooter in the 400 block of E. Palatine Road.
- A citizen reported that between 11:30 a.m. and noon June 8, someone stole her wallet from her purse at Trader Joe's, 17 W. Rand Road, and then made unauthorized purchases with her credit cards.
