Elk Grove Township and District 59 Partner for 'Snow Angels' Campaign
Now until December 15, residents are asked to donate new or gently used boots and snow pants for in-need District 59 students.

Elk Grove Township and Community Consolidated School District 59 have partnered for the first-ever ‘Snow Angels’ Snow Pants and Boots Drive, now through December 15, 2015.
Area residents are asked to donate new and/or gently used snow pants and snow boots for girls and boys who are in-need and attend District 59 schools. Children whose families cannot afford these items are currently unable to participate in recess when snow is on the ground.
“We are thrilled to be joining forces with District 59, businesses including Penske and Parkway Bank, as well as area churches to promote this campaign to provide students with these vital items during the winter months,” said Mike Sweeney, Elk Grove Township Supervisor.
