ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

  • Batbold Batsukh, 31, of the 1800 block of W. Thornwood Lane, Mount Prospect, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:54 a.m. July 29, at Jonquil Circle and Windsor Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 15.
  • Terrence George Ennes, 76, of the 2500 block of N. Haddow Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 11:10 p.m. July 31, in the 200 block of E. Sunset Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 22.
  • Loree S. Labahn, 56, of the 60 block of S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 7:04 p.m. July 27, in the 1600 block of E. Davis Street. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 22.
  • Fernando Pacheco-Toto, 23, of the 1200 block of Woodbury Lane, Palatine, is accused of aggravated DUI, DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC level of .08 or more, no driver's license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, illegal transportation of liquor by a driver, and was arrested at 11:53 p.m. July 26, in the 1200 block of W. Rand Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 8.

POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE

Steven J. Cochrane, 46, of the 500 block of Landmeier Road, Elk Grove Village, is accused of possession of methamphetamine (five grams), possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested at 9:56 p.m. July 29, in the 2300 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 22.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Gustavo Espinoza Nava, 29, of the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 9:34 a.m. July 30, in the 2100 block of W. Euclid Avenue, Rolling Meadows. A court date of Aug. 29 was assigned.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A PEACE OFFICER

Gustavo Espinoza Romero, 53, of the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 9:36 a.m. July 30, in the 2100 block of W. Euclid Avenue, Rolling Meadows. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 5.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Sikou Khantha, 46, of the 4500 block of S. Indian Avenue, Chicago, is accused of violation of an order of protection, and was arrested at 11:53 p.m. July 28, in the 1000 block of W. Allegany Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 19.

PROSTITUTION

Yuneika Nazar Rodriguez Arcia, 22, of the 700 block of Red Oak Lane, University Park, is accused of prostitution, and was arrested at 8:12 p.m. July 30, in the 20 block of W. Algonquin Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 15.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Dante L. Smith, 25, of the 20 block of W. Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights, had two warrants for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 7:28 p.m. July 25, in the 0-10 block of W. Algonquin Road. A future court date in DuPage County was to be determined at the time of the report.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A resident in the 600 block of W. Rand Road reported that during the overnight hours of July 21, someone had shattered the rear driver's side window on her black Hyundai.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

  • A citizen reported that between 1 a.m. and 1:20 a.m. July 24, someone had entered her black Ford and stole her purse in the 4100 block of N. Bloomington Avenue.
  • A resident in the 4100 block of N. Bloomington Avenue called police to report that during the overnight hours of July 24, someone had entered his white Volkswagen and stole personal property, which included a set of golf clubs.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road, called police at 9:28 p.m. July 24, to report someone had stolen $60 worth of kids athletic clothing. The person was described as a white female, 5-foot-6, 130 pounds, with straight black and blue hair, wearing a black sweater, gray sweatpants, white shoes and carrying a pink bag.
