Famers Market Business Down at New Location

Vendors say location to blame for decline in business at Arlington Heights Farmers Market, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Behind the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, vendors at the village’s farmers market said business is down by as much as 50 percent and many want to move back to the North School Park location, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The Arlington Heights Farmers Market was located across the street from North School Park, just off of Arlington Heights Road for ten years. Though some think the new location is to blame, the Chicago tribune reports the market manager believes business in down because of the economy and the addition of famers markets in nearby towns.
