Family of Deceased Soldier Sends Care Packages to Afgahnistan
The volunteer effort has been headed by the family of Cpl. James Stack, who was killed in November 2010, and his widow's family.

The family of U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. James Stack of Arlington Heights, who was shot and killed in southern Afghanistan in November 2010, has been working to collect items and create care packages for oversea soliders, according to the Daily Herald.
On Sunday, Stack's family gathered at the American Legion Post 208 to assemble the care packages with the hopes of sending at leave five boxes to every soldier currently serving in Afghanistan, according to the Daily Herald.
