FBI Releases Photos Of Armed Robbery Suspect At Schaumburg Bank
The U.S. Bank branch at 60 S. Meacham Road was robbed Wednesday afternoon, according to police and the Village of Schaumburg.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — As an investigation continues into a Wednesday afternoon armed robbery at a U.S. Bank branch, the FBI has released photos of the suspect.
According to police, the robbery happened at around 1:23 p.m. at the 60 S. Meacham Road location. A man, described by the FBI as white or Hispanic, made a verbal demand for funds with a black handgun. The suspect is in their late 20s to early 30s, between 6 foot and 6-foot-2, 200 to 220 pounds. He was wearing a dark tan or brown pull-over style hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a black gaiter style facial covering over the lower half of his face, no gloves, blue jeans, and black gym shoes with white accents and soles, and a gray backpack.
No injuries have been reported.

The suspect was last seen running southbound from the bank, armed with the handgun. Schaumburg police said citizens in the immediate area had been issued a message asking them to shelter in place for their safety following the incident. Motorists were also being asked to avoid the area. Citizens should be alert of their surroundings and call 911 if they see anything suspicious.
