Florida Man Busted For 2 Robbery Counts: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Gombosuren H. Baasanjav, 50, of the 1600 block of Pebblecreek Drive, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol by driver, and was arrested at 10:33 p.m. April 5, in the 800 block of W. Central Road. He was released and assigned a court date of May 21.

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

Alex J. Daley, 19, of Lithia, Florida, is accused of two counts of aggravated robbery, theft, and was arrested at 12:04 p.m. April 9, in the 0-10 block of Community Boulevard, Wheeling. A court date of May 2 was assigned.

RETAIL THEFT

Vann C. Osei, 37, of the 1500 block of W. Vine Street, Arlington Heights, is accused of retail theft, criminal trespass to a building, and was arrested at 4:43 p.m. April 8, at the Arlington Heights Police Department station. He was released and assigned a court date of May 14.

INCIDENTS

BURGLARY

Employees at a business in the 2100 block of S. Goebbert Road reported at 3:30 a.m. April 3, someone had entered the clubhouse and stole liquor. The person was described as a male, stocky build, wearing a beanie cap, mask, hoodie, and long pants.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road, reported at 8:22 p.m. April 2, someone had stolen a pair of gym shoes. The person was described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, approximately 6-foot tall, 185 pounds, with medium length black hair, wearing a black jacket and grey Adidas pants.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A citizen called police to report that between April 2 and April 3, someone had damaged his green Hyundai while it was parked on level 1 in the 100 block of E. Eastman Street.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

A citizen reported that between 2:30 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. April 5, someone had entered his white Honda and stole credit cards and cash from his wallet at LA Fitness, 345 E. Palatine Road.
