Frontier Days Gets Underway in Arlington Heights
The festival will run Wednesday through Sunday.

The Frontier Days Festival kicked off Wednesday in Arlington Heights at will continue through Sunday.
The festival is held at Recreation Park, 500 E. Miner Street.

Frontier Days includes carnival rides, family activities, free music performances, the Stampede Run, food, drinks and more. An entire schedule of events for the festival, can be found at ww.frontierdays.org.

7th Heaven - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 1
Blackhawk & The Outlaws - 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 2
Dennis DeYoung - 8:00 PM, Friday, July 3
Vertical Horizon - 8:00 PM, Saturday, July 4
American English - 7:30 PM, Sunday, July 5
Festival hours - Wednesday, July 1, 5 - 11 p.m.; Thursday, July 2, 5 p.m. - Midnight; Friday, July 3, Noon - Midnight; Saturday, July 4, Noon - Midnight; Sunday, July 5, Noon - 10 p.m.
July 4th Parade – Sponsored buy Frontier Days, Inc. (the theme is: 40 years of Volunteers Bringing our Community Together). The parade steps off at 10 a.m. from Oakton to Dunton to Miner, and ending at Recreation Park. Please remember to not place any blankets, chairs, etc. on the parkways and sidewalks along the parade route prior to 7 p.m., July 3.
Stampede Run and Kids’ Dash - Sunday, July 5, 7:30 a.m. 5K or 10K run with Chip Timing, 5K Walk or 1/4 mile Kids Dash. Race registration is being held online at ItsYourRace.com or you can register at 6:15 a.m. at Recreation Park. Click here for details on the Stampede.
July Fourth Fireworks - sponsored by Arlington International Racecourse, 2200 W. Euclid. Held at nightfall on July 4. General Admission required. Tickets can be purchased here.
