ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

- William Andres Cleves Rojas, 40, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, fleeing a peace officer, improper traffic usage, and was arrested April 18 in the 4200 block of N. Bloomington Avenue. A court date of May 1 was assigned.
- Nicholas A. Jahnke, 41, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, and was arrested April 17 at Windsor Drive and Palatine Road. He was released and assigned a court date of May 28.
- Bridget C. McCourt, 63, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC level of .08 or more, and was arrested April 16 at Lake Cook and Schaefer roads. She was released and assigned a court date of May 28.
ASSAULT
Jonathan P. Smith, 36, is accused of aggravated assault, and was arrested April 12 at Bistro Chen Restaurant, 10 E. Miner St. He was released and assigned a court date of May 20.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A resident in the 10 block of N. Dryden Avenue reported that between April 1 and April 9, someone damaged the front windshield on his 2020 Volkswagen.
VANDALISM
A resident in the 1200 block of N. Dale Avenue reported that during the overnight hours of April 10, someone struck her 2015 Chevrolet with multiple eggs.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1400 block of N. Village Drive called police to report that between 10:50 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. April 10, someone forced entry in to her residence and stole personal property.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A citizen called police at 7:20 a.m. April 11, to report someone had thrown a glass bottle, breaking a second story window on the south side of the Village Hall building, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road. The person left in a white Jeep.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at Dick's Sporting Goods reported at 3:45 p.m. April 11, a man had stolen a pair of Timberland shoes valued at $197.99. The person left in a grey Audi Q7 with tinted windows. The man was described as black, wearing a black jacket and red pants. He was accompanied by two other people. One was a black male wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and a black beanie style hat. The other was a black male with dreadlocks, wearing a white shirt, black jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.
