Holiday Guide: Events for the Entire Family
A call from Santa, a holiday tea or a craft fair, enjoy these special events and so much more in Arlington Heights this season.

Enjoy a Holiday Tea at the Historical Museum on December 9. The staff of the N.M. Banta House at the corner of Euclid and Vail Streets will serve finger sandwiches, sweets and steaming pots of tea and punch.
Music will be provided by harpist Kendall Braun. Tables seat four, but larger parties can be accomodated.
Tea times are 12:30 and 3 p.m. Register by November 30 by calling847-255-1225 or through this website.

The 32nd Annual Lambs Farm Holiday Lights Gift and Craft Fair will be Nov. 30, Dec. 1-2 at the Arlington Park Racecourse. More than 500 gift and craft booths will offer one-stop shopping. Admission is $7 for adults, children under 15 are free. Parking is $6. A portion of the admission fees will be donated to Lambs Farm.
Is that Santa Claus on the phone? Your children can receive a call from the North Pole and talk with Mr. Claus or one of his elves. Fill out an information sheet before November 30 and calls will be made December 3, 4 and 6 between 5 and 8 p.m. Calls are for children ages 3-6 years. The calls are free.

Fall Festival Days are Nov. 19-21 at the Olympic Indoor Swim Center at 660 N. Ridge Avenue. Children in grades 1 - 5 will participate in a variety of fun activities including swimming, arts and crafts and sports games. Lunch will be provided. Register through the Park District.
The Arlington Lakes Golf Club is hosting the annual Customer Appreciation Holiday Celebration to say thank you for a wonderful year. Free appetizers, drink specials, contests, pro shop specials and giveaways will be offered. The dinner is on December 15 from 2 - 6 p.m. at the golf course, 1211 S. New Wilke Road.
