How to start a garden

-Creating a vegetable garden is a great step towards healthy eating and it can be fun too. Well we have some great tips to help start some.


-Purchase the seeds you want

-Make sure to water them every day. Don’t over water or your plants will drown.


-Your soil spot should have plenty of sunlight to make your garden grow.

-If it has rained recently then you don’t have to water it because the soil already has water.


-Make sure to start your garden in early April so your garden has the maximum growing season.


-Depending on your plant you might want to start in mid summer, pumpkins grow best in the fall season so thats when you might want to consider planting it then.


-Be sure not to plant your garden when frost still comes because that will end you entire crop.


-Make sure you clear the ground before you plant


-Consider having a fence for rabbit/squirrel protection

Make sure you have your basic tools


-Make sure your soil doesn’t have any rocks or lumps of dirt in it.


-Keep your garden healthy by using fertilizer
