The John Hersey High School Theater Department presents its fall play, The Triangle Factory Fire Project, on October 17-19 at 7:00 p.m. in the school’s theater. The play is about one of the most galvanizing moments in American history when sweeping safety regulations were implemented after a New York City fire swept through a building in 1911 causing nearly 150 workers to perish. The Triangle Factory Fire Project relates the events leading up to the disaster, the fire, and its aftermath while painting a heartbreakingly clear picture of a disastrous day in American History and exploring the human toll such a tragedy takes on us all.
Tickets are $7 and can be reserved by calling 847 718-4882 or emailing joann.langley@d214.org.
