Local Student Named to Tribune's All-State Academic Team
Mount Prospect High School's Neil Sheth is one of ten Illinois high school students to be chosen for this year's Chicago Tribune all-state academic team.
Mount Prospect High School senior Neil Sheth, who is hoping to pursue a career in health care technology and plans to study biomedical engineering in college, has been named to this year's Chicago Tribune all-state academic team.
In his essay application for the all-state team, Sheth criticized Albert Einstein's support of the atomic bomb, stating that "scientists should focus on technology that benefits humankind," according to a Chicago Tribune article.
Only ten "wunderkinds" from Illinois high schools are selected to the Chicago Tribune's 2013 all-state acacdmic team.
