Man Apprehended After Report Of Woman Held Against Her Will: Schaumburg Officials
Police said there is no threat to the public, but officers remain near Wildflower Court while completing the investigation.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — A man was apprehended after police responded Thursday morning to a report of a woman being held against her will in Schaumburg, village officials said.
At approximately 10:50 a.m., officers responded to the area of Wildflower Court for a report of a female being held against her will by a male, according to the Village of Schaumburg.
While officers were investigating, the man exited a window and fled the area, officials said. He was apprehended by police a short distance from the scene.

Village officials said there is no threat to the public and all people involved are safe.
Police remained in the area while completing the investigation, and officials asked the public to stay away from Wildflower Court while officers continued their work.
