Man Attempts Fraud At Walgreens: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
The accused is charged with obtaining a substance by using fraud, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. John Giannakaris, 41, is accused of obtaining a substance by using fraud, and was arrested at 5:40 a.m. Sept. 9, at Walgreens, 3 E. Golf Road. At the time of his arrest, it was also discovered he had an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $20,000.
VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

- Chrystal L. Gutrick, 35, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 14, at the Arlington Heights Police Station, 200 E. Sigwalt St. Bond was set at $2,500.
- Gregg A. Peterson, 37, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 5:59 p.m. Sept. 12, in the 1600 block of N. Mitchell Avenue. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of Oct. 4 was assigned.

BATTERY
Lavandis K. Hartley, 31, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 8:46 p.m. Sept. 9, at the Arlington Heights Public Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave. Bond was set at $100 and a court date of Oct. 24 was assigned.
UNLAWFUL USE OF CANNABIS BY DRIVER
A 29-year-old man is accused of unlawful use of cannabis by a driver, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 10:36 a.m. Sept. 14, in the 600 block of E. Golf Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Oct. 28 was assigned.
