Man Batters Cops At Motel 6 On Christmas: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

The 23-year-old is accused of aggravated domestic battery, 2 counts of aggravated battery of a peace officer, and resisting a peace officer.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

  • Demond C. Butler, of the 1200 block of N. Chicago Avenue, Arlington Heights, had warrants for two counts of violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 4:45 a.m. Dec. 22, in the 1200 block of N. Chicago Avenue.
  • Ermek Motukeev, 28, of the 3200 block of Heritage Lane, Arlington Heights, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 10:08 p.m. Dec. 23. He paid a $3,000 portion of a bond.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY

Jacob M. Moore, 23, homeless, is accused of aggravated domestic battery, two counts of aggravated battery of a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 11:42 p.m. Dec. 25, at Motel 6.

VIOLATION OF STALKING ORDER

Barbara A. Zukowski, 38, of the 8200 block of W. Gunnison Street, Norridge, is accused of two counts of violating a stalking/no contact order, and was arrested at 5:14 p.m. Dec. 23, in the 900 block of S. Dryden Place. A court date of Jan. 21, 2025, was assigned.

INCIDENTS

RETAIL THEFT

An employee at Dick's Sporting Goods, 401 E. Palatine Road, reported at 6:31 p.m. Dec. 16, two males stole approximately $700 worth of Timberland boots and Nike clothing. The two were described as:

  • Suspect No. 1 — Black male, in his 30s, approximately 6-foot3, weighing about 350 pounds, wearing a tan top, dark pants, and short dreads.
  • Suspect No. 2 — Black male, in his 30s, approximately 5-foot-8, weighing about 160 pounds, wearing all dark clothing.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

  • A resident in the 500 block of S. Vail Avenue reported that during the overnight hours of Dec. 17, someone had entered his unlocked Lexus and stole his wallet.
  • A resident in the 2600 block of N. Windsor Drive reported that between Dec. 16 and Dec. 17, someone had shattered the sunroof on her silver Lexus, entered the vehicle and rummaged through the interior.

BURGLARY

An employee at Napleton Dealership, 1155 W. Dundee Road, reported at 2 a.m. Dec. 17, someone had forced entry in to the business, rummaged through several offices and stole multiple sets of car keys and three cars.

THEFT

  • A resident in the 2100 block of S. Goebbert Road reported that between Dec. 17 and Dec. 18, someone sole a package from Kohl's containing gym shoes.
  • A customer at Trader Joe's, 17 W. Rand Road, called police at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 21, reported someone had stolen her purse and cell phone from inside her white Infiniti which was parked in a handicap spot.
