Man Charged With Battering Cop, Resisting Arrest: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Raul Avila, 37, of the 1200 block of S. Ridge Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 4:42 a.m. March 29, in the 1200 block of S. Ridge Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of May 15.
• Antonio J. Randazzo, 22, of the 120 block of Lakewood Drive, Oakwood Hills, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol blood concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 4:03 a.m. March 28, in the 1300 block of N. Arlington Heights Road.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Shawna M. Cichocki, 37, homeless, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 10:08 a.m. March 28, in the 300 block of W. Rand Road.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE

Antoine Flowers, 51, of the 3200 block of 7th Street, Park City, is accused of two counts of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 7:06 p.m. March 28, in the 2100 block of S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. He was released and assigned a court date of May 4.

BATTERY

Alex S. Grunberg, 36, of the 8600 block of Dorr Road, Wonder Lake, is accused of two counts of aggravated battery, three counts of resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and was arrested at 1:08 a.m. March 28. He was released and assigned a court date of April 14.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

• Gerrell A. Johnson, 37, of the 1500 block of S. Yale, Arlington Heights, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 6:48 p.m. April 1, in the 1500 block of S. Yale.
• Gilberto C. Prats, 41, of the 1600 block of W. Morse Avenue, Chicago, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 11:01 p.m. March 28, in the 20 block of W. Algonquin Road.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Ryan Spera, 41, of the 5800 block of Donald Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested at 4:08 a.m. March 30, at the Arlington Heights police station.
