Man Fatally Stabbed At Burger King, Suspect At Large: Des Plaines PD

DES PLAINES, IL — A man was fatally stabbed during a Wednesday night altercation at Burger King location in Des Plaines. The identity of the deceased had not been released at the time of this report.

According to police, a fight between two men occurred at around 5:50 p.m. at the 860 S. Elmhurst Road location. When police arrived on the scene, the other person involved in the fight had fled the area. Police treated a man with multiple stab wounds prior to taking him to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police believe the incident was isolated and there is no threat to the public.

Des Plaines police are being assisted by the Cook County Major Case Assistance team as an investigation continues.
