Man Flashes Revolver to Rob Arlington Heights Gas Station: Cops

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL—A unknown man used a revolver to rob an Arlington Heights gas station Sunday morning, police say.

At about 11:44 a.m., the man walked into the Mobil Gas Station, 1712 W. Algonquin Road, pointed a revolver at the clerk and demanded money from her, according to police. The man then gave the clerk a gray, plastic bag and ordered her to fill it with money, including any large bills she found underneath the cash register drawer, police report.

The clerk told police the man fled the station, running south across Algonquin Road.
