ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.   • Michael E. Benbenek, of Arlington Heights, is accused of assault, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 2 a.m. Sept. 9, in the 200 block of N. Dunton. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 23.
  • Steven Trujillo Diaz, of the 800 block of McHenry Road, Wheeling, is accused of aggravated assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and was arrested at 11:50 a.m. Sept. 6, at Popeye's Chicken, 7 W. Dundee Road, Arlington Heights. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 8.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Deirdre N. Bishop, 31, of the 200 block of E. Seegers Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested at 5 p.m. Sept. 9, in the 200 block of E. Seegers Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 8.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Thadius E. Campos, 32, of the 160 block of N. Wolf Road, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 10:54 p.m. Sept. 10, at E. Northwest Highway and N. Arlington Heights Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 8.
  • Marcus Palmer, of the 19400 block of County Line Road, Roscoe, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 12:27 a.m. Sept. 7, at W. Euclid and N. Kennicott avenues. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 1.
  • Tammula Betty Watson, of the 800 block of E. Shady Way, Arlington Heights, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Sept. 8, in the 2300 block of S. Cedar Glen Drive. She was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 8.

RETAIL THEFT

  • Christy H. Hernandez-Martell, of the 3700 block of Bobwhite, Rolling Meadows, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 10:01 a.m. Sept. 11, at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 1.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

Thomas G. Hajduch, of the 200 block of N. Prindle, Arlington Heights, is accused of five counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, and was arrested at 2:23 p.m. Sept. 6. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 8.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Anna E. Lenoach, of the 900 block of N. Hickory, Arlington Heights, is accused of criminal damage to property, violation of a stalking order, and was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 11. She was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 30.
