Man Shot In Face In Arlington Heights: Sheriff

The Cook County Sheriff's Office is investigating the early Friday morning incident in the 3900 block of Galesburg Avenue.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A man was shot in the face early Friday morning in the 3900 block of Galesburg Avenue. According to the Cook County Sheriff's Office, police responded to a 911 call at around 3:20 a.m.

Upon arrival, police found the man and started life-saving measures. He was then taken by ambulance to an area hospital and his current condition is unknown.

Detectives from the CCSO remain on scene, and the investigation is ongoing. Police are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to call Sheriff's Police detectives at 708-865-4896.
