Man Steals Cologne, Clothing From Kohl's: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
A store employee said the man left the store without paying for the items, according to police.

A 41-year-old man is accused of having a driver's license expired for more than a year, and was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Jan. 20, at I-90 and S. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Feb. 14 was assigned.
BATTERY

Erika Casillas, 33, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 2:43 a.m. Jan. 23, at Denny's, 17 W. Algonquin Road. A court date of Feb. 23 was assigned.
RETAIL THEFT
Ronald R. McKee II, 38, is accused of two counts of retail theft, and was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20, at Walgreen's, 235 E. Palatine Road. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Feb. 26 was assigned.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Jeffrey Y. Park, 23, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:35 a.m. Jan. 21, at W. Palatine road and N. Schoenbeck Road. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of Feb. 23 was assigned.
- Darein A. Valdez Gonzalez, 26, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence with a suspended license, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, driving on a suspended license, speeding (35+ mph over the speed limit), and was arrested at 12:52 a.m. Jan. 23, at Palatine and Schoenbeck roads. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of March 1 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road, reported at 1:50 p.m. Jan. 18, a man filled a shopping cart with clothing and cologne and left without paying. The subject left in a black GMC truck.
THEFT
A resident in the 900 block of W. Rand Road called police to report that between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 17, someone stole a package from the lobby containing a Sony Record Player valued at approximately $248.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS OR ACCESSORIES
A citizen reported that during the overnight hours of Jan. 20, someone stole the catalytic converter off his 2002 Honda at a Comfort Inn in the 2100 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. The price to replace the catalytic converter was unknown at the time of the report.
VANDALISM
A resident in the 3000 block of Huntigton Drive reported that between 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 and 9:55 a.m. Jan. 21, someone threw eggs at his garage.
