Mini-Cycle Stolen From Parking Garage: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Nicole Auriemma, 37, of the 300 block of W. Miner Street, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, operating a motor vehicle with no valid license, and was arrested at 2:47 a.m. Aug. 24, at S. Arlington Heights Road and E. South Street. She was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 18.
• Miguel L. Giles, 35, of the 60 block of Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC of .08 or more, and was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Aug. 28, at Linden Road and Thomas Street. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 18.
• Jiovani J. Sanchez, 23, of the 500 block of W. Eastman Street, Arlington Heights, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC of .08 or more, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, and was arrested at 11:13 p.m. Aug. 24, in the 1500 block of E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 8.

PROBATION VIOLATION

Michael Shawn Burton, 26, of Flint, Michigan, is accused of a probation violation, and was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 28, at the Bridgeview Courthouse. He is also accused of theft over $500. A court date of Sept. 4 was assigned for the latter.

BATTERY

Eusebio Sinaca Chapol, 43, of the 1100 block of E. Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 11:12 p.m. Aug. 22, in the 1100 block of E. Algonquin Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 18.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A citizen reported that between 6:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Aug. 19, someone had smashed the windshield on his gray Mazda with a rock while it was parked in the 100 block of W. Northwest Highway.

STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

A citizen called police to report that between July 26 and Aug. 19, someone had stolen her SYX Moto VK 58cc mini-cycle from a parking garage in the 1500 block of Central Road.
