Police Say Missing Boy Safe, Reunited With Family In Mount Prospect

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — Police said Tuesday afternoon a 13-year-old boy who had went missing last night has been found safe and reunited with his family. Earlier in the day, the department had sent a mass notification by phone, text and email to the area surrounding where he had last been seen.

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 13-year-old boy who was last seen late Monday near Lions Park.

The boy was last seen around 11:30 p.m. after leaving home on foot near Lions Park, according to the Mount Prospect Police Department.

Police said the boy is about 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and gray shorts.

He has been diagnosed with a mild intellectual disability, police said.
