Motorcyclist Killed Following Crash In Mount Prospect: Report
Elmhurst Road was shut down for nearly three hours Thursday night while police investigated the crash.
MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — A 22-year-old man was killed Thursday night after crashing his motorcycle on Elmhurst Road. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the deceased as Alexis Martinez, of Mount Prospect, who died at Northwest Community Hospital following the crash.
Daily Herald is reporting the crash involved just the motorcycle.
Mount Prospect police said all lanes of traffic on Elmhurst Road (Route 83) between Golf Road (Route 58) and Sunset Road were closed for nearly three hours for an investigation, reopening at around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
