Mount Prospect Man Faces More Child Pornography Charges
Prosecutors accuse former Northwestern University cop Ronald Godby of taking lewd photos of another teen girl.

More child pornography charges have been filed against a Mount Prospect man already accused of taking inappropriate photos of a teenage girl, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Ronald Godby—a lieutenant with the Northwestern University Police Department until recently—was arrested and charged Monday on added counts of manufacture and possession of child pornography after authorities found photos he allegedly took last year of another teenage girl wearing thong panties and exposing her vagina, the report stated. The pictures were found on his work computer at Northwestern, the report added.

Godby, who ran a side business as a photographer and did work for Prospect High School, was charged in February with the manufacture and possession of child pornography and grooming after Cook County prosecutors accused him of taking revealing photos of a 13-year-old girl in 2013 and then again in 2015 when she was 17. His arrest came after police found the pictures on his home computer.
In this latest case, prosecutors claim Godby, 53, knew the victim, who is 17, since she was a seventh-grader and had photographed her for Prospect school activities, the Tribune reported.
