New Owner for Animal Hospital

Prospect Animal Hospital, which serves Arlington Heights, Palatine and more, has a new owner.

Prospect Animal Hospital, in its 58th year of serving Northwest Suburban pets, recently changed ownership. Dr. Diane Dodin purchased the practice from longtime owner Dr. Ronald Black, who retired, according to a news release from the hospital.
Dodin, who most recently practiced at Forest Glen Animal Hospital, brings             over a decade of veterinary experience to the table. Dodin earned her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished her clinical year at the University of Illinois.
“I am very excited to serve the Arlington Heights and Northwest Chicago and suburban communities.” Dodin said. “This is an ideal location to work from, with many animal lovers in this region.”
Dodin has written articles for local publications about common pet issues and has been a long time volunteer at Red Door Animal Shelter. Dodin, who grew up in  Highland Park, currently resides in Chicago with her cat Foley.
Since 1955, Prospect Animal Hospital has strived to provide the highest quality of patient care and client education to pet owners in Arlington Heights as well as the neighboring cities of Prospect Heights, Mount Prospect, Buffalo Grove, and Palatine.
They are located at 2326 E. Rand Road in Arlington Heights. The office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am-5pm; Wednesday and Saturday from 9am-12pm.
