Kaye was hired as the associate principal of South Middle School in 2005. One year later, he was hired as the principal at Windsor Elementary, leading that building for five years, according to the district. After Windsor, Kaye became the principal at Thomas Middle School, where he was a "key leader" during the expansion of that building. After eight years at Thomas, Kaye was hired as the assistant superintendent of personnel and planning.

"As I step into the role of superintendent, I am both honored and grateful to continue my journey in Arlington Heights School District 25, a place that has been my home since 2005," Kaye said. "I am committed to fostering an environment that prioritizes student growth, embraces innovation, and cultivates a community where every child feels valued and supported. I cannot wait to get started."

The district said there will be many opportunities in the coming months for the staff and community to connect with Kaye.
