ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The North Cook Intermediate Service Center and IASA-North Cook Region are organizing the second-annual "Better Together" PK-8 Job Fair next month in Arlington Heights. The event will bring together more than 25 elementary school districts and special education cooperatives with a goal is to attract educators and support staff to the region.
The job fair is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at the District 214 Forest View Educational Center, located at 2121 South Goebbert Road. Organizers said the event will offer new and veteran educators a chance to connect directly with hiring leaders and other decision-makers.
Districts are seeking candidates for various certified positions. These include classroom teachers, library-media specialists, instructional coaches, and school psychologists. Special-area teachers are also being recruited. Support staff roles include teacher aides, paraprofessionals, and student advocates.

Licensure specialists from NCISC will be available to address questions about credentials, endorsements, and other licensure requirements. They will provide assistance to both candidates and participating districts.
"By hosting this job fair, we are taking a proactive approach to connect districts with top-notch candidates," said Dr. April Jordan, executive director of NCISC. "Our goal is to ensure the highly-regarded North Cook region continues to be a destination for outstanding educators and staff."
