“Pay it Forward” and Join C.A.T.I.F. at Durty Nellie’s!

Palatine-based non-profit C.A.T.I.F. [Celebrating All That Is Feminine] will be hosting an exciting fundraiser in late February to benefit women veterans and at-risk girls.

This exciting event will include both silent and live auction items, raffles, cocktails and appetizers and a jam-packed evening full of fun.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center , where women veteran are among the recipients of acute care and outpatient clinical services. Veterans residing in Cook County, the city of Chicago and northwest Indiana qualify for care at this facility. The medical center’s strategic priority is the “heart of the Veterans Community.”

The Kappa Kappa Gamma Girls Academy also will benefit from funds raised at the event. This organization offers friendship, mentoring and positive activities for young girls, provided by its collegiate members-who are encouraged to maintain strong involvement in their communities.

The Pay it Forward event will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at Durty Nellies, 180 N. Smith Street, Palatine.
