Playground Swings 'Out of Service' in Arlington Heights Parks

The playground swings at two different Arlington Heights parks have been taken out of service, according to the park district.

The playground swings at Flentie Park and Cronin Park are temporarily out of service, not to be used until further notice, the Arlington Heights Park District announced Tuesday.

Due to warranty issues detected during the district's routine playgound inspections, the swings at the two playgrounds have been taken out of service.

The Arlington Heights Park District will complete install upon receipt of parts from the manufacturer, which are estimated for delivery within four to six weeks. Until then, the playground swings at Flentie Park, E. Mulberry Lane and Birchwood Lane, and Cronin Park, S. Vail Avenue and W. South Street, will be out of service.
