Through the effort, police will be conducting additional enforcement efforts to supplement mandatory and optional campaign enforcement dates. Police said they schedule these efforts during some of the deadliest times of the year.

The focus of the efforts will be the leading causes of crashes, including speeding, impaired driving, electronic device use, failure to yield, and disobeying traffic control signals, as well as occupant restraint violations.
