Power outages forced three Arlington Heights schools to close Friday. School was not in session Friday at Windsor Elementary School, Thomas Middle School and Olive-Mary Stitt School, according to the Arlington Heights School District 25 website.  Staff and students at those buildings are asked not to attend. All other District 25 facilities are open.

Rosemont Uncorked returns to Parkway Bank Park in Rosemont on June 6–7, 2026, with two days of outdoor wine tasting, live music, and easy access from Chicago and the suburbs.
