Arson investigators were able to confirm the fire was likely set intentionally.

Patrick S. Backus, 26, is accused of assault, and was arrested at 9:49 p.m. March 4, at Metropolis Ballroom, 6 Vail Ave. A court date of April 17 was assigned.
VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

More K. Bility, 24, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested at 9:28 p.m. March 4, in the 600 block of E. Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of March 8 was assigned.
ESCAPE/FAILURE TO REPORT TO PENAL INSTITUTION
Ingrid L. Campos, 44, is accused of escape/failure to report to a penal institution, retail theft, and was arrested at 2:40 p.m. March 9, at Marshalls, 1500 Maybrook Drive. Bond was set at $225,000 and a court date of March 10 was assigned.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Caitlin M. Connolly, 29, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 2:16 a.m. March 4, at Arlington Heights Road and Magnolia Street. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of April 5 was assigned.
- Lidell R. Johnson, 38, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 3:27 p.m. March 5, in the 1200 block of Rand Road, Prospect Heights. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of April 5 was assigned.
PROBATION VIOLATION
Cassy Bo Dawkins, 41, is accused of two counts of probation violation, and was arrested at 6:23 p.m. March 5, at a BP Station, 2250 Arlington Heights Road.
UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON
William J. Hendee, 67, is accused of unlawful use of a weapon, and was arrested at 10:23 p.m. March 6, at Northwest Community Hospital, 800 W. Central Road. A court date of March 22 was assigned.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Marldon Holder, 34, is accused of criminal damage to property, and was arrested at 12:04 p.m. March 9, in the 70 block of W. Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of April 7 was assigned. He is also accused of the same crime at the same location at 5:12 p.m. March 6. He was assigned a court date of March 29 for that incident.
DOMESTIC BATTERY
Batamgalan Lkhagvasuren, 36, is accused of domestic battery, resisting a peace officer, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 3:15 p.m. March 8, in the 2100 block of S. Goebbert Road. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of March 29 was assigned.
RETAIL THEFT
Brandon M. Tiedel, 40, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 12:30 p.m. March 8, at Jewel, 2121 Euclid Avenue. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of April 10 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
ARSON
A citizen reported at 9 p.m. Feb. 27, someone had lit her 2020 GMC on fire in the 400 block of W. Rand Road. Arson investigators were able to confirm the fire was likely set intentionally.
THEFT
- A member at LA Fitness, 345 E. Palatine Road, called police to report that between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Feb. 28, someone stole his Nike track jacket, which had a gold chain and headphones in the pockets. The jacket was inside an Under Armor duffle bag near the wall on the basketball court. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $1,550.
- A resident in the 2100 block of S. Goebbert Road called police at 4 a.m. March 3, to report someone stole her Ring Doorbell off her front door. The value of the doorbell is approximately $70.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road, reported at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 28, a woman stole approximately $2,200 worth of jewelry. The female is described as being between 25 and 30 years old. She had arrived in a Volkswagen sedan.
THEFT OF SERVICE
An employee of an apartment complex in the 1100 block of E. Algonquin Road called police at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 27, to report two males arrived in a black Dodge van, and proceeded to place several pieces of wood or particle board inside the dumpster. The subjects did not reside at the complex.
VANDALISM
A resident in the 30 block of S. Evergreen Avenue reported at 1:40 p.m. March 2, someone drew unknown symbols with black marker in three different locations in the stairwell.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A resident in the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road reported that during the overnight hours of March 3, their 2016 Hyundai and 2022 Ford were damaged with a purple paint like substance and scratched while parked in the parking lot.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLE
A resident in the 1500 block of Woods Drive called police to report that during the overnight hours of March 3, someone entered her 2017 Hyundai and rummaged through the interior.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 900 block of E. Shady Way called police to report that between 3:45 p.m. and 11:05 p.m. March 3, someone forced open her front door and stole personal items.
