Resident Reports Political Sign Damaged: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
The resident of the 1000 block of N. Dunton Avenue reported to police the lawn sign had been damaged.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Manuel Gomez, of the 20 block of N. 11th Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle with no license, unlawful use of cannabis by a driver, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, and was arrested at 2:32 a.m. Sept. 30, in the 100 block of W. Northwest Highway. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 20.
VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Richard N. Roberts, 42, of the 100 block of MacArthur Drive, Willow Brook, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Oct. 1, in the 2100 block of Euclid Avenue. A court date of Oct. 25 was assigned.
FORGERY
Chanell J. Rush, 26, of the 3400 block of W. Payton Place, Arlington Heights, is accused of forgery, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 5:48 p.m. Oct. 1. A court date of Nov. 22 was assigned.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Agnieszka Stepaniuk, 48, of the 500 block of S. Cleveland Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 7:31 p.m. Oct. 2, at Cleveland Avenue and Davis. She was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 20.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
- An employee at Brookhaven Market, 450 E. Golf Road, reported at 7:44 pm. Sept. 23, a woman had stolen approximately $150 worth of groceries. She was described as white, wearing a yellow sweater, black skirt and a gray head covering. She left in a white SUV.
- An employee at Target, 1700 E. Rand Road, called police at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 24, to report a female had stolen approximately $250 worth of merchandise. The female was as white, wearing a black hat and red shirt, carrying a large black bag. She left in a white BMW.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A resident in the 1000 block of N. Dunton Avenue called police to report that between midnight and 4 p.m. Sept. 26, someone had damaged his political lawn sign.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A resident in the 300 block of W. Miner Street called police to report that between Sept. 28 and Sept. 29, someone had punctured a tire on his white Subaru and his green Subaru.
THEFT
Two people reported at 3:19 p.m. Sept. 29, that a female wearing a yellow shirt stole a gray Huffy mountain bike and damaged a blue Roadmaster bike from the northeast corner of the parking lot at Target, 1700 W. Rand Road. The female left in a black Nissan.
