Saint Viator Named Blue Ribbon School By U.S. Department Of Education
It marks the third time the Arlington Heights school has earned the distinction.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — "Hard work and dedication" has led Saint Viator High School to a third National Blue Ribbon recognition by the U.S. Department of Education. The Arlington Heights school was also recognized in 2008 and 2014.
"This is an incredible honor for our school community," Principal Jon Baffico said after learning of the distinction Monday. "To receive the Blue Ribbon Award three times in our history is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students, staff, and parents. We are truly grateful for this recognition and will continue to strive for excellence in all that we do."
U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recognized 356 schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools this year. According to officials, the prestigious recognition highlights schools that excel in academic performance or make significant strides in closing achievement gaps among different student groups.
