ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Arlington Heights, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Township High School District 214 and Arlington Heights School District 25.

The first days of school for most students in Arlington Heights are Aug. 14 and 29.

  • Last Day: May 30, 2025

Arlington Heights School District 25

  • First Day: Aug. 29, 2024
  • Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25, 2024 through Nov. 29, 2024
  • Winter Break: Dec. 23, 2024 through Jan. 3, 2025
  • Spring Break: March 24, 2025 through March 28, 2025
