St. Raymond School to Host 7th Annual "Volley for the Cure" Friday, October 3 With Proceeds Benefiting Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Volleyball Fundraiser Evening to Feature Match Play Between Sixth through Eighth Grade Girls from Three Schools

To support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade girls’ volleyball teams from St. Raymond (Mount Prospect) will host St. James (Arlington Heights) and Park View (Morton Grove) at its seventh annual ”Volley for the Cure” volleyball fundraising event Friday, October 3 at the St. Raymond School Parish Life Center (gym) at the corner of Lincoln and I-Oka streets. Organized by St. Raymond School parents Beth Menczywor and Dave Petricca, the event will raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Admission is $2 and will be given to the foundation. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
St. Raymond’s sixth grade girls’ volleyball team begins the competition with a 4:55 p.m. match versus St. James; at 6 p.m. St. Raymond’s seventh grade girls play Park View; at 7:05 p.m. St. Raymond’s eighth grade girls’ “black” team plays St. James; and the event concludes with an 8:10 p.m. match between St. Raymond’s eighth grade “white” team and Park View.
