Stolen Car Arrest Made At Hospital: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

ARRESTS

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

• Twyla S. Barksdale, 35, had an in-state warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested Jan. 8 in the 1900 block of N. Arlington Heights Road.
• Cherry A. Watland, 39, had two in-state warrants for violation of bail bond, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, new charges of driving on a revoked license, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, and was arrested Jan. 6 at Golf and Arlington Heights roads. Watland was releasd and was assigned a court date of Jan. 25.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION

Elena Fedorova, 40, is accused of operating a motor vehicle with no valid license, operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested Jan. 7 in the 20 block of W. Algonquin Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 31.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Silverio Lezama Cortes, 24, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested Jan. 7 in the 1100 block of E. Algonquin Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 25.
• Luis A. Valencia, 35, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, had an in-state warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested Jan. 7 in the 100 block of S. Wilke Road. He was released and was assigned a court date of Feb. 16.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

Elizabeth K. Piper, 22, is accused of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and was arrested Jan. 8 at Northwest Community Hospital, 800 W. Central Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 12.

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

Antwoin S. Mason, 18, is accused of three counts of aggravated robbery, identity theft, and was arrested Jan. 2 in the 2100 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. A court date of Jan. 26 was assigned.
