Teens Have Opportunity to Partner with Police

The Link Together Coalition is excited to kick off “YOUR ACTIONS MATTER!” in Arlington Heights! This youth-led initiative was developed by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission as a reminder to adults that preventing underage drinking is everyone’s responsibility. . The event will start and end at the Arlington Heights Police Department on Wednesday, May 7th from 3:30PM- 6:00PM Pizza is provided for all participating teens.

Students, along with Arlington Heights Police officers will be placing bottle hangers and posters in local businesses that sell liquor. The youth-designed campaign materials carry a positive message that will also be distributed in locations throughout the state.

If you have a teen (7th-12th grade) that would like to participate in this fun event, please contact Jorie at 847-353-1776
