Thanksgiving Food Drive to Help Local Families in Need

A Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the Village’s Emergency Assistance Program will be held from Monday, Oct. 29 until Thursday, Nov. 15.

The Emergency Assistance Program provides temporary help to Arlington Heights residents and families who are in need of assistance due to the loss of a job or other financial or family crisis.

You can contribute to the Food Drive by donating non-perishable food items to the following Arlington Heights drop-off locations:

• Village of Arlington Heights’ Health Services located on the first floor of Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road
• Chase Bank, 1 N. Dunton Avenue
• Egg Harbor Café, 140 E. Wing Street 

The food items needed include canned yams, canned vegetables, canned cranberry sauce, canned gravy, boxes of mashed potatoes, paper napkins, paper towels, paper plates and any other non-perishable food items.

This Thanksgiving Food Drive is coordinated by Servpro of Arlington Heights. Thank you for your generosity this holiday season.
