Trio Steals BMW, Infiniti, Porsche: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

The crime occurred at Arlington Nissan, 1100 W. Dundee Road, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE

Rolando Flores, 43, is accused of driving on a suspended license, had an in-state warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested Jan. 30 in the 3000 block of W. Euclid Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 20.

Francisco J. Silva-Alcala, 28, is accused of speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit), driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 26 in the 700 block of E. Rand Road. He was released and assigned a court date of March 8.

INCIDENTS

RETAIL THEFT

  • An employee of Ulta Beauty, 13 W. Rand Road, reported at 1 p.m. Jan. 8, two people stole an unknown amount of perfume. They left in a blue Chevrolet Sonic. They are described as:
  1. Black male, in his late 20s, approximately 6-foot-5, thin build, wearing a navy Canada Goose coat, a blue face mask, black jeans and black and white Air Jordan gym shoes.
  2. Black female, in her late 20s, heavy set, wearing a red puffy coat, grey leggings and black boots.
  • An employee at Brookhaven Market, 450 E. Golf Road, called police at 3:35 p.m. Jan. 28, to report someone stole dog food and pop tarts. The subject was described as a black female wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white/red logo, blue jeans and black and white shoes.

ARMED ROBBERY

An employee of a Shell gas station, 2113 N. Arlington Heights Road, called police at 9:44 p.m. Jan. 8, to report someone stole money from the cash register, while threatening to shoot the employee with a gun. The subject was described as a black male in his 40s, approximately 6-foot tall, weighing 200 to 230 pounds, wearing all black clothes.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A homeowner in the 900 block of S. Evergreen Avenue reported at 9 p.m. Jan. 10, someone entered his garage and stole items from the refrigerator.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS

A citizen reported that between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 11, someone stole the rear driver's side wheel from her Chevrolet Malibu in the 3300 block of N. Ridge Avenue.

THEFT

  • A resident in the 150 block of E. Fleming Drive North reported at 5:20 a.m. Jan. 12, someone stole an Amazon package from her front porch.
  • A resident in the 100 block of N. Lincoln Lane called police to report that between Jan. 13 and Jan. 14, someone stole a package delivered by UPS from the building vestibule.

BURGLARY

  • An employee at Foremost Liquors, 1776 W. Algonquin Road, reported at 4:51 a.m. Jan. 13, five subjects forced entry into his store and stole cash, cigarettes and liquor. They arrived and left in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee.
  • An employee at Arlington Nissan, 1100 W. Dundee Road, called police at 5:35 a.m. Jan. 13, to report three subjects entered the business and stole a BMW, an Infiniti and a Porsche.
  • A resident in the 800 block of S. Dwyer Avenue called police to report that between 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Jan. 26, someone entered her residence and stole personal property.
  • An employee of Currency Exchange, 118 E. Wing St., reported at 2:56 a.m. Jan. 29, two unknown shattered the front window and gained entry in to the business. The subjects attempted to steal the ATM, but were unsuccessful. The subject arrived and left in a black Infiniti and a white Infiniti.

STOLEN AUTO

A citizen called police to report that between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Jan. 17, someone stole his black Chevrolet Camaro from a parking lot in the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road.

VANDALISM

An employee of Sunset Meadows Park, 700 S. Dwyer Avenue, called police to report that during the overnight hours of Jan. 19 someone spray-painted the east side of the building.

ROBBERY

A victim called police at 1:10 p.m. Jan. 26, to report two unknown subjects approached her as she exited her vehicle and stole her purse which contained credit cards and cash. The offenders left in a gray or black SUV. The offenders were described as:

  • Black male, late 20s/early 30s, 5-foot-10, stocky build, wearing a black ski mask, blue jacket and black pants
  • Black male, late 20s/early 30s, 5-foot-10, lean build, wearing a black ski mask and a dark jacket.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

A citizen reported that between 9:30 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. Jan. 28, someone entered his Mercedes and stole cash, air pods and a radar detector at X-Sport Fitness, 960 W. Dundee Road.
