ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS
DOMESTIC BATTERY

- Peter Mihale, 24, of Arlington Heights, is accused of domestic battery/physical contact, and was arrested at 2:44 a.m. Sept. 4. He was taken to court and assigned a court date of Oct. 8.
- Michael W. Clark, 24, of Arlington Heights, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested 9:06 p.m. Sept. 5. He was taken to court and assigned a court date of Sept. 28.
- Tyron D. Davis, 23, of Chicago, is accused of domestic battery, battery, assault, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 7 in Arlington Heights. He was taken to court and given a court date of Sept. 28.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Kamal Frank Abdelkoui, 61, of the 1500 block of W Richmond Street, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 100 block of W Northwest Highway. He was assigned a court date of Sept. 25.

POSSESSION OF CANNABIS
Gerardo M. Vasquez, 24, of the 1500 block of Lincolnshire Avenue, Aurora, is accused of possession of cannabis (10-30 grams), and was arrested at 4:36 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 2900 block of W Euclid Avenue. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 25.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL
- Rafal M. Popko, 45, of the 700 block of W Hunnington Commons, Mount Prospect, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 4:43 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 1700 block of W Algonquin Road. He was released on bond and given a court date of Sept. 29.
- Carlos E. Salas-Gonzalez, 32, of the 600 block of Iowa Street, Addison, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a revoked/suspended license, unlawful possession of medical cannabis for driver, and was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 500 block of S Arlington Heights Road. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Oct. 9.
- Maciej P. Grabowski, 41, of the 5400 block of Teaberry Court, Rolling Meadows, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested 9:10 Sept. 7 in the 700 block of W Algonquin Road. Grabowski was released on bond and given a court date of Sept. 25.
UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON
Kenneth G. Schooff, 26, of the 200 block of N Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of unlawful use of a weapon, and was arrested at 10:26 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 200 block of W Miner Street. He was released on bond and given a court date of Oct. 23.
INCIDENTS
THEFT TO AUTO
- A resident in the 2200 block of S Goebbert Road reported that during the overnight hours of Sept. 8 someone took all four wheels and tires from a vehicle parked in the apartment complex parking lot. The vehicle was left on bricks when the resident discovered the theft the next day. The estimated value of the wheels and tires is approximately $2,500.
- A resident in the 600 block of S Evergreen Avenue called police to report that between 6 p.m. Sept. 8 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 9 someone entered two unlocked cars while they were parked in the driveway. The resident’s property was strewn about the vehicles but it does not appear anything was taken from the vehicles.
- A resident in the 600 block of S Evergreen Avenue reported that during the overnight hours of Sept. 9 someone entered a vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. The resident's property was strewn about the vehicle but it does not appear anything was taken from the vehicle.
- A resident in the 1900 block of N Eastwood Drive called police to report someone unlawfully entered two unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway during the overnight hours of Sept. 9. The resident's property was strewn about the vehicles. Taken from the vehicles were a set of keys and a wallet.
THEFT
- A resident called police to report someone took a bicycle from the rear patio during the overnight hours of Sept. 6. The bicycle was left unsecured and unattended overnight when the theft occurred. The bicycle is valued at approximately $200.
- An unknown person took a park sign indicating "Evergreen Park" at around 8 a.m. Aug. 28 from park district property in the 1800 block of E Grove Street.
- An unknown person took a cooler for food delivery from the front porch of a residence during the overnight hours of Sept. 7 in the 500 block of S Lincoln Street. The cooler is valued at around $50.
BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
An unknown person took a resident's vehicle from the driveway during the overnight hours of Sept. 9 in the 500 block of S Dunton Avenue. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.
